Yes, turczaninovii, not ...owii. This is "the other Korean Hornbeam", the slow growing, twiggy branched one with the nicer smalll leaves. Find it in the Hornbeam Care Guide.

After light spring care by pruning most of the growing tips. It's recovering well.
Wired a nicely elongated lower right branch & shaped several others for a nicer depth view.
The focus is on backbudding & strengthening the middle section. Next spring, the apex gets a harder cut back.
Winter status after pruning. The tree recovered well and shows a lot of buds. Now lets grow some good branching.
